Copa América  2015 – Mexico 1 -2  Ecuador

Miguel Herrera's side become first country to crash out of Copa America 2015 following Group A defeat
·        Miller Bolanos opened the scoring for Ecuador in the first half
·        West Ham striker Enner Valencia doubled their lead in the second half
·        Mexico pulled one back through Raul Jimenez but could not equalise
·        The defeat means Mexico become the first team to exit the Copa America
·        Ecuador are guaranteed to finish third but can qualify depending on other results from Group B and C in the next two nights 
·        Mexico have been eliminated from the Copa America following a 2-1 loss to Ecuador on Friday in their final Group A match.

Miller Bolanos opened the scoring for Ecuador in the 26th minute and West Ham forward Enner Valencia added a second in the 57th. Mexico got one back through Raul Jimenez's penalty in the 64th.

Mexico, who were playing a B team without stars like Javier Hernandez and Carlos Vela, only have two points in their three group matches. Many of their top players are being rested for next month's Gold Cup in the United States.
